Huawei Technologies Develops 100 Gigabit Ethernet Prototype
Huawei Technologies, a China-based provider of telecom network solutions, has developed its 100 gigabit ethernet prototype.
According to the company, the 100 gigabit ethernet (GE) technology provides a high-speed ethernet interface and works with 40G and 100G WDM technologies to provide transport solution for operators that can support large-capacity data services.
Christian Chua, president of transport network product line at Huawei, said: "With these Huawei has become the only supplier in the industry that can provide the end-to-end transport solutions for large-capacity OTN/WDM data services. We will continue to focus on our customers' needs, to innovate, and to strive to alleviate the bandwidth pressure caused by ultra-broadband services."
