Demandbase Taps Management From Yahoo and Jigsaw to Drive Expansion of Online Marketing and SaaS Solutions
Demandbase, Inc. , a technology company transforming the way B2B companies identify, reach and convert new customers, today announced that David Lieberman has joined as vice president of business development and Susan Chenoweth Scarth has joined as vice president of marketing. Previously serving in sales leadership at Yahoo!, Lieberman will be charged with building key partnerships with leading solution providers in the online marketing space. He will also further expand Demandbase’s content and data partnerships, leveraging his 10 plus years in the business information sector at DowJones/Factiva, iSyndicate, and Thompson. Scarth joins the company with more than 20 years of software industry marketing experience at Jigsaw, Taleo, Commerce One, Microsoft, Netscape, and IBM, and is responsible for Demandbase’s overall marketing and communications strategy.

Prior to joining Demandbase, Lieberman was responsible for Yahoo!’s growth within the search and display advertising categories and led the team responsible for $200 million in annual revenue. Before his position at Yahoo, Lieberman held leadership positions at Dow Jones/Factiva, Thompson Business Information and Xerox Corporation.

Previously, Scarth held marketing leadership positions at Microsoft, Netscape and IBM.
