Intercasting Selects Mzinga to Moderate Mobile Social Networking

Posted on: Tuesday, 21 October 2008, 09:00 CDT

Mzinga (http://www.mzinga.com/pr/), the leader in enterprise social media and learning solutions for the workplace, marketplace, and extended enterprise, today announced that Intercasting has chosen Mzinga to help moderate user generated content across 15+ communities that are powered by its mobile social networking platform ANTHEM(TM).

Intercasting powers mobile social networking through its award-winning ANTHEM platform, which connects mobile carriers with entertainment companies and consumer social networking sites. Using the company's Rabble application, consumers can create and share content on their phones and become a part of the rapidly growing Rabble community, which now reaches more than 250 million people nationwide.

Intercasting's platform also supports the ability for members to upload content through mobile devices to over 15 popular social networking sites. Mzinga will moderate text, message posts and uploaded photos to ensure that interactions comply with the company's established guidelines.

"As we explored options for moderating user content, we realized we needed an experienced team that could be available 24x7x365 and meet our Terms of Service quickly and efficiently," said Tom Demas, vice president, QA & client services at Intercasting. "Mzinga provides the expertise, service flexibility, and depth of experience moderating online communities for large brands that we wanted for our own community."

As businesses continue adopting new ways to engage and interact with their target audiences online, moderation is becoming increasingly critical to ensuring a safe, welcoming user experience and reducing related privacy and brand liability risks. Mzinga's professional moderation team has extensive experience moderating and monitoring communities for some of the biggest brands in business, and currently supports more than 5,000 hours of moderation per month across global online communities in 12 languages.

"Intercasting is at the forefront of the intersection between social networking and mobile environments," said Rick Faulk, CEO, Mzinga. "We're excited to have them as a client, and look forward to helping them enhance and further embrace their innovative mobile community through our moderation services."
