AT&T to Provide Unified Comms for State of Tennessee

AT&T has been awarded a 10-year $600m contract from the State of Tennessee to develop a unified network infrastructure providing next-generation services across all government agencies.
It will upgrade the core of the state’s IP-based network to increase capacity, adding more bandwidth for internet connectivity to allow three times more traffic over the network.
