Liquid Compass Re-Signs Crawford Broadcasting

Liquid Compass, a premier streaming delivery network, announced that it has re-signed Crawford Broadcasting, the nation's pioneer Christian broadcaster. Crawford Broadcasting has been a Liquid Compass client since 2005.

Under the terms of the new contract, Liquid Compass will continue to provide streaming media and RIAA royalty reporting services to 22 Crawford stations in major markets throughout the U.S., including Buffalo, Birmingham, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Los Angeles, Rochester, San Francisco and St. Louis.

"We consider Internet streaming to be the transmission medium of choice for the future and are working hard to provide our listeners with the best online streaming product available, without putting undue strain or our bottom-line," said Crawford Broadcasting's Cris Alexander. "Liquid Compass continues to focus on our needs and deliver superior value in its streaming media offerings as well as in their customer service and support. This is especially important to us in today's marketplace and uncertain economic times."

As the radio industry migrates more and more to the Internet and looks for ways to monetize its streaming initiatives, so too is Crawford Broadcasting. And, as an example of Liquid Compass' demonstrated cost effectiveness and added value to clients, the company soon will be providing interactive sales training to the Crawford Broadcasting staff as the company begins its in-stream selling efforts in the near future.

"The Liquid Compass streaming delivery network allows clients like Crawford Broadcasting to focus more on building an attractive platform for their listener and, in this case, future advertising base, rather than bear the burden of cost to sustain their larger interactive initiatives," said Zackary Lewis, Liquid Compass' CEO. "We are very pleased that Crawford Broadcasting recognizes the value of our streaming media capabilities and has chosen to extend their contract with us."
