REI Wins $225m FEMA Sub-Contract From IBM

REI Systems has been awarded a $225m six-year subcontract from IBM for enterprise architecture modernization at the US Federal Emergency Management Agency, FEMA.

Last month, FEMA awarded IBM the original $915m six-year contract to run its enterprise applications development, integration, and sustainment, EADIS, program. IBM's other team members include Booz Allen Hamilton, Oracle, and CSC.

REI Systems has worked with FEMA before. In September 2007 it won a contract to support web-based applications for the agency's office of the chief information officer.
