Network Equipment Technologies Schedules Press Release and Conference Call for Second Quarter of Fiscal 2009 Results

Telecommunications equipment maker Network Equipment Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:NWK), announced today that it expects to report second quarter fiscal year 2009 financial results after the end of regular trading on Tuesday, October 28, 2008. At that time, a copy of the earnings release will be available under the Investor Relations section of the Company's website.

The earnings release will be followed by a conference call available to all interested parties. The conference call will begin at 4:30 p.m. ET.
