Phoenix Technologies Distributes Yahoo! Search to Help Consumers Manage Their PCs and Improve Their Online Experience

MILPITAS, Calif., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Phoenix Technologies Ltd. , the global leader in core systems firmware, today announced a distribution agreement with Yahoo! Search. Users will be provided easy access to Yahoo! Search through Phoenix's consumer and embedded products and its online software update website, DriverAgent.com(TM). In addition, Yahoo! will highlight DriverAgent.com on its popular Yahoo! Downloads website. This partnership is yet another step forward by Phoenix in its PC 3.0(TM) promise to simplify the PC end user experience.

Under the partnership, Phoenix will bundle Yahoo! Search into its Online Synchronization and Continuity solution, BeInSync(TM). Phoenix will also bundle Yahoo! Search with DriverAgent and promote Yahoo! Search on DriverAgent.com, a web destination where users scan their computers for out- of-date drivers and access more than one million driver updates.
