Sean Percival Named Director of Content for Tsavo

Tsavo Media (www.tsavo.com), a new company focused on the delivery and monetization of niche content to today's digital consumers, today announced the appointment of Sean Percival to the new post of Director of Content.

Percival will manage the build-out of Tsavo's vertical properties, including those aimed at men, women, families and sports enthusiasts.

He joins Tsavo from Docstoc.com, where he served as Content Manager, spearheading new content initiatives, creating independent web properties to drive traffic, developing and executing social media campaigns, and conducting blogger outreach programs and brand management. In three months, his efforts helped double site traffic to two million unique visitors per month.

Prior to Docstoc, Percival headed social media and search engine marketing for Mahalo, where he increased traffic from 3.5 million to 4 million uniques per month, over a 10-month period.

"Sean brings to Tsavo the best of both worlds," said Michael Jones, founder and CEO, Tsavo Media. "He knows how to present content in a hugely compelling fashion and, equally, how to get consumers to flock to these content-rich sites."

"Tsavo is all about providing an engaging experience for users with original and aggregated content," Percival said. "Through Tsavo's unique monetization strategies, we have an opportunity to build enriching and high quality destinations for consumers, while creating highly attractive business opportunities for publishers."

Percival is also a web developer and a popular published author in the tech how-to genre, having written MySpace Marketing and The Second Life Travel Guide, both from Que Publishing. In addition, he has served as webmaster at Trading Places International in Aliso Viejo, Calif. and at Nova Development in Calabasas, Calif., and ran a web hosting business with more than 200 domains.
