TheFind, Inc. (www.TheFind.com), the leading shopping search engine for discovering lifestyle goods, today announced that it has partnered with vertical content network Glam Media (www.glammedia.com). Glam.com and the sites in the Glam network will now have access to the unparalleled reach of TheFind.com’s shopping search when seeking hip boutiques, hard-to-find brands and the latest from popular fashion labels. The new shopping search was previewed during October’s Los Angeles Fashion Week, where TheFind Inc. and Glam Media partnered to showcase the Gregory Parkinson Spring/Summer 2009 Collection in an exclusive and celebrity-attended soiree at the Honor Fraser Gallery in Los Angeles.

“We’ve become a favorite shopping resource with stylists and others within the fashion community because of our ability to find even the most eccentric and cutting-edge brands, boutiques and stores,” said Siva Kumar, CEO and Co-Founder of TheFind Inc. “By partnering with Glam Media we now offer their users the unique ability to dig deep and find items alongside the news, trends and shopping information they routinely discover via Glam and its network.”

“Glam Media is all about connecting consumers to the content they care about,” said Ryan Roslansky, VP of Products and Audience, Glam Media. “Leveraging TheFind.com’s shopping search capabilities will enable us to further enhance the experience by providing users with access to the hard-to-find brands and exclusive boutiques featured across our network and on Glam.com.”

The partnership between TheFind.com and Glam was formally announced to the fashion community during Los Angeles Fashion Week on October 18th, as the two companies unveiled the Gregory Parkinson Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. The event gathered four hundred guests who represented the top fashion magazines, stylists, artists and socialites in the Hollywood community. Celebrity guests included Rachel Griffiths (Brothers and Sisters), Perrey Reeves (Entourage), Elijah Wood, Tracee Ellis Ross, Ione Skye and Ben Lee. Celebrity stylists such as Arianne Phillips, Maryam Malakpour, Elizabeth Stewart, Fati Parsia, Jane Ross, Patrik Milani, Tanya Gill, and Magda Berliner also attended, alongside YSL’s Stefano Pilati, MMA’s Margaret Maldonado and handbag designer Bridget Romanek. The event showcased the much-celebrated Gregory Parkinson, a sought-after brand that is an ideal example of a designer working directly with TheFind.com and Glam to make his collection available online to consumers nationwide.
