Moblyng (www.moblyng.com), a leading social media company, announced today the launch of its artist campaigns featuring musicians from top record labels: Columbia Record’s Metro Station, Nettwerk Records singer/songwriter Lucy Schwartz, Interscope Records’ Black Tide, and Decaydence/Fueled by Ramen’s Gym Class Heroes. Moblyng will add its “Moblyze Me” button to each artist’s MySpace profile home page allowing fans to instantly mobilize content to their mobile devices. Fans will be presented with additional value-added offerings once inside the artist-branded WAP environment. Content is then easily shared with friends via mobile phones. The new features may also be interacted with through Moblyng’s mobile site, m.moblyng.com. Campaigns include:

 — Black Tide offers fans the ability to mobilize their new animated series, “Bastard vs. Bots,” featuring music from their new album, Light From Above through their newly launched MySpace site. “It’s pretty cool that we will be able to reach out to our fans whenever we want to give them updates about what is going on with Black Tide,” said Zakk Sandler, bassist of Black Tide. “Now they will know all that we are up to the second it happens and they can tell everyone.” — Metro Station fans will have the opportunity to interact with multiple offerings in conjunction with their debut release, Metro Station. Users will be able to interact with their favorite Metro Station music videos and be presented with a customized WAP environment that includes access into the band’s IVR line and links into their ring tone storefront. — Gym Class Heroes will host similar functions providing fans with additional content to purchase and interact with from their new album, The Quilt. Once fans enter the WAP environment, they can access a newly launched ring tone store as well as links to the band’s tour dates.

“Mobile phone users love music content and we are excited to give consumers a way to instantly mobilize content from top music artists,” said Stewart Putney, CEO of Moblyng. “The campaign bridges the gap between fan and artist to provide a personalized environment that can be accessed anytime, from anywhere.”

Moblyng will continue to introduce ongoing artist campaigns from major and independent label communities, providing fans a new means to interact with their favorite artists.
