Fluke Networks and Other Industry Thought Leaders to Highlight Solutions for Successful IP Telephony Management at VoiceCon

Fluke Networks today announced that VoIP Solution Program Director, Eric Bear, will speak on a panel at the upcoming VoiceCon Conference on November 12, 2008 at the Moscone North Convention Center in San Francisco as part of the "Managing Staff, Technology and Costs" track sessions. The discussion will address the growing need for effective real-time management of IP Telephony through the presentation of tools and methods essential for managing voice traffic and assuring optimal performance.

"Having participated at VoiceCon six times, I'm really looking forward to being a part of the conference again this year," states Bear. "I have the perspective of seeing network tools from several points of view, from being a former network management software engineer at GTE and a program manager at MCI to helping the major VoIP vendors build their first and second generation VoIP gateways and IP phones at Texas Instruments. Having worked with several different VoIP management approaches, I'm excited to share my experience and Fluke Networks' knowledge about the challenges of converged voice, video and data networks and how to address them."
