MOSCOW. June 30 (Interfax) - OAO Russian Railways (RZD) had received applications to transport 680,016 tonnes of oil to China in July, as of June 30, the company's PR department said Thursday.
According to the statement, OAO Rosneft submitted a bid to supply 450,000 tonnes of oil through Zabaikalsk, Yukos - 200,000 tonnes through Naushki, and Sibneft - 30,016 tonnes through the Kombinatskaya crossing in Kazakhstan.
Lukoil has not yet submitted an application to transport oil to China in July. Lukoil announced earlier that it planned to cut supplies of oil to China by rail due to the high cost of transportation.
June applications received by RZD to transport oil to China amounted to 690,000 tonnes.
The company plans to transport 20 million tonnes of oil to China in 2005.
