BlueStripe Software Named One of Network World’s ’10 IT Management Start-Ups to Watch’

November 3, 2008

RTP, N.C., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ — BlueStripe Software, the industry’s first provider of Application Service Management (ASM) solutions for virtualized data center environments, today announced that IDG’s Network World has selected BlueStripe as one of its “10 IT Management Start-Ups to Watch.” Companies are selected for Network World’s Companies to Watch lists based on the strength of each company’s technology and their industry segment.

As a leading provider of news, analysis, reviews, events, and education on information technology, Network World has compiled Top 10 Companies to Watch lists across a variety of technology categories for over a decade. The “10 IT Management Start-Ups to Watch” article appears in the November 3, 2008 edition of Network World and can be accessed on the publication’s Web site at http://www.networkworld.com/news/2008/110308-mgmt-cos.html?hpg1=bn.

This acknowledgement by Network World marks a wave of recognition for BlueStripe since emerging from stealth mode and announcing FactFinder in September. Last month, BlueStripe was named as a finalist in the Early Stage Company of the Year category for the North Carolina Technology Association’s 2008 NCTA 21 Awards. In September, it was named a Best of VMworld 2008 Finalist by TechTarget Inc.’s SearchServerVirtualization.com in the application and infrastructure management category.

FactFinder is the industry’s only solution to enable enterprises to stage, deploy, and manage business-critical applications during physical to virtual (P2V) conversions, application staging, quality assurance testing, and production deployments. By bridging the gap between enterprise applications and the new virtual environments on which they are being deployed, FactFinder gives IT support teams the management visibility, the tools to measure, and the ability to triage their critical business applications.

“We developed FactFinder after talking with many enterprise IT leaders, so when industry leaders such as Network World take notice it tells us we’ve been doing something right — and that’s very rewarding,” said BlueStripe co-founder and CEO Chris Neal. “The IT management problems that BlueStripe set out to solve — application visibility and management capabilities across any environment — are certainly resonating with the market.”
