Stanley to Continue Support of U.S. Army Fire Systems Software Development

ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Stanley, Inc. , a leading provider of systems integration and professional services to the U.S. federal government, today announced that it is part of a team that was awarded a two-year, time and materials contract worth $29.5 million to continue to support the Fire Support Software Engineering Division of the U.S. Army Software Engineering Center, Command and Control Software Directorate. The value of this award was included in Stanley's discussion of bookings to date in the third quarter of fiscal year 2009 during the company's second quarter earnings conference call held on October 30, 2008.

Stanley will provide software engineering support to the Army's CECOM Life Cycle Management Command within the Software Engineering Center, which is responsible for providing software engineering services for assigned mission-critical defense systems.
