CCI to Acquire 40 Microwave Towers From Worldwide Communications

Competitive Companies, a US-based provider of data, voice and video services, has entered into a letter of intent to acquire 40 carrier-grade microwave towers from Worldwide Communications.

The towers purchased, valued at more than $2 million are located in alternate tier markets in 13 states in the US. The new 40 tower network are expected to provide a critical link for Competitive Companies (CCI) to enable a broadband IP-based network in conjunction with the company's existing fiber optics core fixed wireless equipment and technology, and allows pursuance of rural market demand for broadband-IP services.
