FancyPants(TM) Graphics Platform, for Freescale and Other Innovative Processors, Featured in Australian Technology Showcase
FST, a world leading provider of embedded GUI platform technology for consumer and other electronics, today announced FancyPants(TM) support for Freescale’s MPC5121e processor, enabling dramatically enhanced user experiences, with dynamic graphics and high performance multimedia.
Featured in the Australian Technology Showcase Patron’s Award, October 29, FancyPants’ SDK provides a powerful and easy-to-use API with an embedded runtime optimized for available hardware acceleration and codecs. Markets include portable media players, smart phones, set top boxes, in-car telematics / infotainment and more.
FST has leveraged the Freescale MPC5121e for next-generation products, delivering FancyPants’ eye-catching GUI capabilities and Ruthlessly Efficient(TM) runtime for product differentiation, reduced costs and speed to market. The MPC5121e is a highly integrated, multi-core system-on-chip (SoC) device, optimized for high-performance and power-sensitive applications requiring complex graphics, multimedia and real-time audio processing.
