US-based Bank and Office Interiors has recently upgraded its business network to an integrated voice and data solution from Qwest Communications International.
According to Qwest, its exclusive three-year agreement with Bank and Office Interiors (B&OI) will connect five of the company's sites in Washington state, including its headquarters and sales offices, and will use Qwest's wide-area networking solutions based on MPLS technology. Qwest will also provide private and internet port technology, CPE solutions and long distance.
Dana DeVol, IT director for Bank and Office Interiors, said: "We needed to connect five locations in the Puget Sound region to each other, to our customers and to our vendors in a way that was easier to manage, would lower our operating cost over our legacy network and would help us deliver better service. Qwest offered us the full wide-area network package that will scale with our growth."
