FoodNetwork.Com Scores Leading Traffic in October 2008 According to Nielsen Online
Nielsen Online’s recently released traffic numbers for October 2008 have put FoodNetwork.com on top of the Food & Cooking category for the 28th consecutive month. FoodNetwork.com finished October 2008 as the No. 1 Web site in Food & Cooking with 8.6 million unique users having visited the site. (http://www.foodnetwork.com)

FoodNetwork.com has held the top spot in the Nielsen Online Food & Cooking category continuously since June 2006. FoodNetwork.com also holds the record for the most unique visitors in the Food & Cooking category during a single month, attracting more than 12.6 million unique users in December 2007.
Recipezaar.com, a user-generated recipe site also owned by Scripps Networks, also performed well during the month, increasing its audience 29 percent from October 2007. All together the Scripps Networks Digital food-related Web sites reach 40 percent of the online audience that visit Food & Cooking content sites.
