FiberNet Telecom Extends Network Reach to Chicago and Miami

US-based FiberNet Telecom Group has extended its network reach to Chicago and Miami.

The company said that the newly deployed networks are an element of its previously announced four-part network expansion project that also includes increasing its network capacity in the New York metro market; deploying additional capacity in Los Angeles; extending the network to San Francisco; and augmenting its metro ethernet network.

John Dowd, vice president of business development at FiberNet, said: "Network expansion into these critical markets was of prime importance for us. With these extensions, we can now meet our customers' demand for expanded network reach."
