MSN(R) Japan Will Use Omniture SiteCatalyst to Provide Advertisers With Real Time Analysis of Visitor Interests to Drive Ad Spend Strategies
Omniture, Inc. (NASDAQ: OMTR), a leading provider of online business optimization software, today announced that MSN(R) Japan operated by Microsoft Co., Ltd, -- one of the world's largest Internet portal sites -- is using Omniture SiteCatalyst to better understand content interest among online visitors. With this information, MSN Japan can drive advertising development and sales throughout its network of sites.
The previous Web analytics solution used by MSN Japan made it difficult to obtain real-time data and generating reports required a lot of manual processes. With SiteCatalyst, MSN content producers can log in to SiteCatalyst, automatically see visitor trend information and take action in a timely manner. SiteCatalyst allows MSN to analyze their site more deeply including visitor path analysis and visitor profile analysis. In turn, MSN Japan can provide their advertisers with more targeted and beneficial results.
