Lufthansa Systems Expands E-Ticket Interlining Connections for Austrian Airlines

Lufthansa Systems, an IT service provider for the airline and aviation industries, has implemented a further 90 e-ticket interlining connections for Austrian Airlines.
Austrian Airlines has been using the e-ticket interlining solution from Lufthansa Systems since 2005.
According to Lufthansa Systems, the solution takes into account the highly complex requirements of e-ticket interlining, which enables airlines to share each other's e-ticket information. As a result, passengers do not have to use conventional paper tickets, even if they change airlines en route to their final destination, said Lufthansa Systems.
