C-Motech, the World's Number One Wireless Data Modem Company, Boosts Foreign Market Strategies

SEOUL, South Korea, Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- C-Motech (CEO Jae-Man Lee, www.cmotech.com), the company specializing in wireless data modems presented its wireless data modem development technology and vision to 40 overseas bloggers from 17 countries and 200 Korean bloggers at the 1st World Professional Blogger-Journalist Association which was held at Hanhwa 63 City's International Conference Hall in Seoul on the 17th of last month.

With products that support a wide range of mobile communications technology such as cdma 2000 1 x EV-DO Rev. A, HSDPA and WiBro, C-Motech is the world's number one supplier of wireless data cards and modules.

Fritz Effenberger of Gizmodo, who attended the WPBA event that day, said he was surprised to find out that the world's number 1 wireless data card company was a Korean company and that he was deeply impressed by C-Motech's advanced technology and Korea's ability to grow.

C-Motech, which has developed the world's first WiBro/EVDO dual mode USB data modem, is focusing on expanding into the international market with its WiBro data modems, and is scheduled to release dual mode USB data modems through major US mobile communications companies. Recently, it has boosted it domestic operation by releasing the WiBro-exclusive USB modem, Cacao (model: CBU-410S), which has a speed twice higher than its conventional counterparts through SK Telecom.

Moreover, C-Motech received the spotlight by demonstrating its technology to foreign buyers and 200 companies at the Mobile Asia Congress held in Macau, China, for four days from November 18th to 20th.

During the event, a C-Motech official said, "we have attended this conference as the Asian market, including China, is a crucial market we cannot neglect," and that, "new markets must be explored and technology development must be focused on especially at times of hardship."

C-Motech's dual modems, which can access wireless internet and 3G communication simultaneously, are being sold through the prominent US mobile communications company, Sprint.
