FunnelBrain LLC Announces Executive Team
(http://www.funnelbrain.com) announced the appointment of Joe DeTuno as Chief
Executive Officer, and
DeTuno, previously Senior Vice President of Product at Move, Inc.,
(Nasdaq: MOVE) will lead FunnelBrain’s company-wide operations, including
product development, user experience, marketing and sales. Whitley, previously
Senior Director of Technology at Move, Inc., will oversee the architecture,
functionality, performance, scalability and reliability of the company’s
platforms and operations.
FunnelBrain.com, an academic question and answer site founded by a team of
seasoned Internet executives and education experts, is currently in a private
beta phase.

At Move, DeTuno led Product activities including user experience, online
advertising and product R&D for the world’s largest network of real estate
websites. DeTuno introduced innovative social and web 2.0 solutions, mobile
applications, and next generation search experiences for online real estate.
DeTuno has served as a senior level management consultant at Cap Gemini,
and as a strategy executive at Countrywide Financial. He has also held
product management and marketing roles at CollegeClub.com and Microsoft.
DeTuno is the co-inventor of two pending patents in the areas of real estate
search and information security.
At Move, Whitley was responsible for advanced search solutions, artificial
intelligence, and research and development. Whitley designed and implemented
patented systems for search, user experience and IP harvesting for the world’s
largest network of real estate sites including REALTOR.com. Prior to Move,
Whitley was a Distinguished Engineer for Electronic Data Systems (EDS), and
held senior technical leadership positions at both Countrywide and American
Express.
Whitley is the inventor of several patents in the areas of search,
classification and information security.
