Total Communications donates food baskets and hundreds of toys to needy families in East Hartford
EAST HARTFORD, Conn., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ — On Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 10:30 am,
Anne Hoff-Laliberte, Food Bank Coordinator for the Town of East Hartford, will accept a donation from Total Communications, Incorporated, that will feed hungry families – and warm hearts.
Continuing a 20 year tradition, Total Communications will brighten the holidays for families served by the East Hartford Social Services Division with a $1500.00 cash donation for food baskets and over 300 toys. The lobby at Total’s corporate headquarters is bulging with bicycles, teddy bears, skateboards, Barbie(R) dolls, and every imaginable toy. According to
Rhonda Tassie, Total’s Director of Human Resources, “Every year, we ask our employees to make a difference in a needy child’s life by donating a toy. And every year, they respond with amazing generosity!”
Total Communications has been located in East Hartford for over 26 years, and this is a “wonderful way to give back to the community,” notes

Town of East Hartford and Total Communications employees will load the toys and bicycles into town vehicles on Tuesday morning at Total’s Burnham Street office at 10:30 am. From there, the Social Services Division will distribute the toys through their “Toys for Children” holiday program.
