Agilysys Chooses Vangard Voice Systems' Mobile Voice Platform to Voice-Power NextVision(TM) Mobile and Wireless Retail Suite

(Vangard), the innovative provider of the AccuSpeech(R) Mobile Voice Platform for voice powering mobile enterprise applications, announced today a partnering agreement to voice-enable a wide selection of Agilysys' market-leading retail solutions. Vangard's Mobile Voice Platform (MVP) is now used to voice-enable applications offered in the NextVision(TM) by Agilysys Web-based mobile and wireless retail software suite. Customers utilizing NextVision can now further optimize retail operations by selecting optional voice-powered capabilities for data entry, application function commands and navigation capabilities.

Agilysys chose to partner with Vangard's Mobile Voice Platform due to its capabilities to quickly and non-invasively add sophisticated voice capabilities to the company's Web-based retail applications. NextVision mobile and wireless solutions can now deliver complete device-resident voice capabilities on a wide variety of mobile devices.
