Creative Introduces a Breakthrough for iTunes Users - Sound Blaster for iTunes
Posted on: Thursday, 8 January 2009, 06:00 CST
Sound Blaster for iTunes allows you to wirelessly connect your PC or Mac to speakers when you listen to your iTunes or MP3 music. You no longer have to connect speaker cables from your PC or Mac directly to your speaker system, because it plays back music wirelessly through Creative wireless speakers or Creative wireless headphones throughout your home. Sound Blaster for iTunes can also play back your music wirelessly through Creative Wireless Receivers connected to your existing powered speaker systems. Now you can take your notebook PC or Mac from one room to another while you listen to iTunes music without skipping a beat. Sound Blaster for iTunes enables you to select up to four specific rooms where you want to wirelessly play back your music or you can broadcast to systems throughout your home.
Sound Blaster for iTunes makes every iTunes or MP3 track on your Mac or PC sound dramatically better, including protected or unprotected music you bought from iTunes or that you ripped from your CDs. It even improves virtually all of your music, including music from MySpace and YouTube, and your favorite Internet music from sites such as Pandora, Slacker and LastFM, and music streaming from sites as Napster and Rhapsody. Sound Blaster for iTunes restores the lost highs and lows that are missing from music by utilizing award-winning X-Fi(R) audio technology.
"One of the key drivers of the iTunes and MP3 revolution was being able to
download music from the Internet and store it on your computer or a portable
handheld player that had a very small amount of memory. iTunes and MP3
compressed the music so it was only a fraction of the original size, making it
quicker to download a track on the Internet, and you could store more tracks
on your handheld player. In the process of making iTunes and MP3 tracks
smaller so they could be downloaded, the music lost its highs and lows.
Because of the popularity of iTunes, many people have heard their music in
only that format so they may not know that their music should sound a lot
better. Sound Blaster for iTunes does for audio what HDTV did for video,
providing a significant quality improvement," said
