Sakar Brightens Kids' Electronics With New Crayola Products: Alarm Clock Radio, MP3 Player & Walkie Talkies for Ages 3 & Up

Latest Additions to Award-Winning Sakar-Licensed Crayola Line

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Color kids' electronics crayon-box-bright with Sakar International's new Crayola AM/FM Alarm Clock Radio, MP3 Player and Walkie-Talkie - all featuring vivid kid-friendly color schemes and a rainbow of buttons designed specifically for tiny fingers. The new products are the latest in a line that also includes Sakar's award-winning Crayola Digital Camcorder and EZ-Grip Digital Camera.

Sakar's Crayola AM/FM Alarm Clock Radio (SRP $29.99) for ages 4 and up is a drenched-in-color cube with super-sized buttons, a music dock that fits any MP3 player including the new Crayola MP3 Player, a large digital time display on the front, and a built-in 'projector' that beams the time up to the ceiling where little ones can see it while they're lying in bed. It includes 'sound soother' sound effect buttons, a snooze button, and an auxiliary plug for a headphone jack connection.

The Crayola MP3 Player (SRP $49.99), also for children 4 and older, has a fun lozenge-shaped control panel with five large differently colored buttons for each function, a power button that lights up when the player is on, and a built-in speaker/voice recorder for out-loud listening and self-expression. It holds 2GB of music - roughly 2,700 songs - and comes with earbuds as well as colorful letter stickers enabling kids to affix their names. It runs on one AAA battery (not included) and can be plugged into the Crayola AM/FM Alarm Clock Radio dock.

The Crayola Walkie-Talkie (SRP $14.99 for a set of two) for ages 3 and up comes with three changeable face plates in multi-colored patterns for variety and personalization. It features rubberized side grips for easy handling, plus easy-to-find pastel buttons and antennas.

All of the battery compartments require a tool for access, preventing children from removing the batteries. All three products will be released in Q2 2009 and are being exhibited at Booth #13544 at the International CES Show that opens today in Las Vegas.
