Chelsio Releases Industry's First Microsoft-Certified NetworkDirect Driver for Windows Server 2008

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Chelsio Communications, Inc., the leading provider of 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) adapters and ASIC solutions, today announced it has released the industry's first logo-certified (WHQL) driver for Microsoft(R) NetworkDirect, enabling very low MPI latency for high performance computing (HPC) environments running Windows Server 2008. Additionally, Chelsio announces a roadmap target to deliver two microsecond MPI latency for its NetworkDirect driver in the next 12 months. Microsoft NetworkDirect is the new low-latency RDMA network API that is part of Windows HPC Server 2008.
