Metron-Athene's Performance Management Network Solution Selected by OneBeacon Insurance

WOODLAND HILLS, California, January 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Metron-Athene has announced that OneBeacon Insurance Group has purchased the Athene capacity planning and performance management solution from Metron-Athene to manage all its AIX and z/OS systems. Headquartered in Canton, Massachusetts, OneBeacon's operating subsidiaries offer a range of speciality and segmented commercial and personal insurance products, which are sold primarily through select independent agents across the country.

Athene, which replaces an existing capacity planning system that is being phased out, will be used to provide regular capacity reports, as well as analysis on specific projects.

OneBeacon is also planning to use the CustomDB product from Metron. This extension to Athene allows data from any source to be captured and imported into Athene to form part of the overall analysis and planning process, and the subsequent reports.
