Mayors Focus on Investment in Broadband Technology

WASHINGTON, Jan. 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — United States Conference of
Mayors President, Mayor of Miami Manny Diaz and the Knight Center of Digital
Excellence will host a discussion on Sunday, January 18, during the USCM’s
77th Winter Meeting about how making investments in broadband technology can
connect, enable and transform communities.

Broadband infrastructure can galvanize many of the priorities and programs
in communities. This session will explore new models for public interest
broadband projects that can strengthen communities and revitalize the economy.
