EMC Recognized for Environmental Stewardship by North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources

HOPKINTON, Mass., Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC), the world leader in information infrastructure solutions, announced today that the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) has recognized EMC's Apex Manufacturing plant as a Rising Environmental Steward. This recognition is for companies in North Carolina that voluntarily demonstrate a mature environmental management system and progressive environmental performance and pledge to continue that commitment.
