The LSI CSP1040 is a system-powered data access arrangement, thus insulated from the performance degradation that can result from low loop current conditions that sometimes occur on long telephone wires. In addition to PC modem solutions, LSI also supplies controller-based, controller-less and soft modem solutions for multi-function printers, fax machines, point-of-sale terminals and television set-top boxes.
