"Relatively minor staffing changes to key selling days can have a significant impact on sales," says
The majority of the systems are being installed in specialty retail chains that generate high traffic, sell 30% or less of it, and are service sensitive. Apparel, shoes, jewelry, sporting goods, personal care products, and electronics are typical store categories. Most are installing systems in all stores.
St. Michael Strategies will install all equipment and software at up to 3 chain locations, collect traffic and related data daily, generate reports, and provide a project facilitator to suggest ways to optimize service during peak periods to improve sales and reduce selling costs. There is no charge for this 4-6 weeks pilot program for qualifying North American retail chains with 50 or more stores.
The goals of the program are to demonstrate equipment accuracy, incorporate traffic counting technology into the chain's POS environment, and demonstrate the value of conversion rate as a sales driver.
