Community development, regional programming and sponsorship focus of agreement

CANTON, Mass., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ — CrossTech Partners LLC (www.crosstechpartners.com) and New Marketing Labs LLC (www.newmarketinglabs.com) today announced a strategic partnership with the MIT Sloan Alumni Club of Boston, creators of the MIT Sloan CIO Symposium program to launch an online community program, regional MIT Sloan CIO event programs, and increased sponsorship opportunities within the community.

Now in its sixth year, the 2009 MIT Sloan CIO Symposium is the premier global event for CIOs and senior IT executives to become better business leaders. It provides a highly focused educational and networking experience for attendees and speakers to explore how leading-edge academic research and innovative technologies can help address the practical challenges faced in today’s changing global economy.

“Bringing the CrossTech Partners and New Marketing Labs resources together with the MIT Sloan CIO Symposium will help us expand this Symposium in a number of important ways. The development of a community resource site helps to maintain the dialogue among peers with the many challenges they face in this economy and the new regional half-day programs will bring education and networking at the highest levels to MIT Sloan alumni and many other business and technology leaders across the country. It’s a great new partnership with a lot of potential to further enhance the MIT Sloan CIO Symposium community experience,” said Christopher Reichert, Executive Chair of the MIT Sloan CIO Symposium.

The MIT Sloan CIO Symposium regional programs will co-locate and be conducted in conjunction with CrossTech Media’s (parent company of New Marketing Labs) ITEC Conferences in 2009, enabling top-level technology executives to participate at ITEC with their corporate teams. ITEC Conference attracts hundreds of mid- to senior-level technology buyers and decision makers to programs in 15 cities throughout the year in active business markets. The MIT Sloan CIO Symposium has launched a new online community program, which will bring thought leadership, debate and discussion online in a social media-oriented format year-round, including connecting through networking channels such as LinkedIn and other business networking online communities. The community platform is being developed by the CrossTech Partners and will be managed by New Marketing Labs.

“It’s great to have a partnership with a world class organization like the MIT Sloan Alumni Club of Boston and their Symposium that can leverage the many business competency groups of our company. From audience and community development to event co-location in major business markets, this relationship is an excellent example of the breadth of service offerings at CrossTech Media,” said Nicholas Saber, President of CrossTech Media.
