Mobil Satellite Technologies Awarded Satellite Internet Equipment and Services Contract by the Commonwealth of Virginia

CHESAPEAKE, Va., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Mobil Satellite Technologies, a leading provider of commercial satellite services, announced today that they have been awarded a contract by the Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) to provide Mobile and Fixed Satellite Internet Equipment and Service to State Agencies, Institutions and Other Public Bodies. The term of the Contract is for One (1) year initial period with three (3) additional one (1) year renewals.

Mobil Satellite Technologies will use capacity on the HughesNet commercial satellite network to provide broadband connectivity for State offices, schools, mobile vehicles, disaster recovery mobile command centers, and first responders.
