ConnectEDU Partners with QuestBridge to Offer More College Planning Tools to Low-Income Students

Provides Greater Resource Access for Guidance Counselors and Students within the ConnectEDU National Network(TM)

BOSTON, March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- ConnectEDU, Inc., (www.connectedu.net) the Web-based leader in using data to connect students with colleges and employers through the nation's largest college and career planning network, has partnered with QuestBridge, the Web-based leader in recruiting talented low-income students to top colleges, to bring guidance counselors and students using the ConnectEDU National Network more resources. With more than 2,000 high schools in the network, the over 300 colleges in the network will now be able to build relationships with hard-to-reach students and also inform them of the college assistance opportunities available to them through QuestBridge. QuestBridge partners with 26 top American Universities including Stanford, Yale, Amherst, Columbia, MIT and Princeton.

QuestBridge and ConnectEDU's combined offerings will now be available to students within ConnectEDU's technology solutions, integrating QuestBridge's National College Match Program and College Prep Scholarship applications with ConnectEDU's college resource database, and expanding ConnectEDU's existing user base of more than one million prospective students. This new portfolio of resources will be able to better reach a population of motivated, low-income students to offer both educational and scholarship opportunities at some of the nation's best colleges, as well as provide the data and resources needed to make informed college application decisions.

QuestBridge application tools now offered within ConnectEDU's solutions include the QuestBridge National College Match, which helps outstanding low-income high school seniors gain admission and full four-year scholarships to some of the nation's most selective colleges, and the QuestBridge College Prep Scholarship, which provides awards that equip outstanding low-income high school juniors with the knowledge necessary to compete for admission to top-ranked colleges.
