Vernier Networks' EdgeWall Named Best Endpoint Security Solution By Network World

Integrated Vernier and PatchLink Solution "Excelled in Remediation," Wins Clear Choice Award with Top Scores

Vernier Networks(R) today announced that it has been named best endpoint security solution by Network World magazine. The integrated Vernier and PatchLink solution received the Clear Choice award from the publication's test and evaluation laboratory. Published in the June 27, 2005 issue, Network World reviewed seven products that were required to identify compliance of out-of-policy systems and take actions for remediation.

According to Network World, the Vernier Networks' EdgeWall 7000i and PatchLink Update Server combination came out on top because of its sound performance in all categories. With an overall score of 4.33, the joint submission "excelled in remediation, providing the ability to block network access and automatically fix out-of-compliance systems, and it was among the most resilient of the packages tested."
