Outrider Names Patrick Garrett Director, Strategic Services

Outrider, a leading global search marketing company based in St. Louis, and part of Mediaedge:cia, has named Patrick Garrett to the new position of Director, Strategic Services, effective immediately. Garrett's responsibilities include client strategy for Microsoft and solution development - such as continued evolution of testing strategy services including landing page development and analytic development of page and messaging tests.

Patrick was previously vice president of sales and marketing at interactive design firm SteadyRain. In 10 years with SteadyRain and other interactive agencies, he worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies, including: Anheuser-Busch, UBS Warburg, Verizon Wireless, and DuPont.

Garrett's extensive interactive experience has been key to the development of numerous successful online initiatives for his clients. Most notably:

-- UBS Warburg - Design and development of a proprietary multimedia e-learning tool for company executives.

-- Anheuser-Busch - Redesign of the Busch.com website which introduced the concept of demographically targeted content for users.

-- Republic of Tea - Online strategy development for Republic of Tea's e-commerce initiatives, including the integration of online viral marketing entertainment such as Republic of Tea's Madam Oolong Tea Leaf Reading game.
