Republic Airways Holdings Reports a 44% Increase in June 2005 Traffic

Republic Airways Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:RJET), parent company of Chautauqua Airlines and Shuttle America, today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for June 2005. The company generated 391.4 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 43.9% increase over the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased to 536.7 million, a 42.6% increase. Load factor was 72.9% versus 72.2% in June 2004. A total of 803,362 passengers were carried during the month, a 30.6% increase over the same month last year. Republic Airways subsidiaries offer scheduled passenger service on more than 840 flights daily to 87 cities in 32 states, the District of Columbia, Canada and the Bahamas through code sharing agreements with four major U.S. airlines. The airline currently operates a fleet of 124 Embraer regional jets, including 68 ERJ-145s, 15 ERJ-140s, 17 ERJ-135s and 24 Embraer 170's. All of its flights are operated under its major airline partner brand, such as AmericanConnection, Delta Connection, United Express and US Airways Express. The airline employs more than 2,900 aviation professionals.
