Optimum Lightpath Receives 11th Consecutive New York State Public Service Commission Commendation for Customer Service Excellence

JERICHO, N.Y., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Optimum Lightpath(SM), a market leader in Ethernet-based communication solutions for New York metropolitan area businesses, today announced it has been awarded, for the 11th consecutive year, the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) Commendation for Excellent Customer Service.

The New York State PSC commendation recognizes telecommunications providers that consistently provide the highest levels of service and quality to customers in New York State. Optimum Lightpath has been honored by the PSC annually since 1998 -- every year that the Company has been reviewed by the Commission.

The annual New York PSC commendation recognizes excellent customer service based on providers' performance in relation to service quality standards established by the Commission. The criteria used to grant a commendation for excellent service included an evaluation of customer trouble report rates (CTRR) and the number of consumer complaints received by the Commission.

The PSC award is one of several industry recognitions received by Optimum Lightpath recently.
