Marine Corp Base Camp Pendleton Selects WENS

Posted on: Tuesday, 31 March 2009, 10:06 CDT

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Marine Corp Base Camp Pendleton located in San Diego, California announced recently the installation of a MCB wide alert system. Camp Pendleton selected Inspiron Logistics' Wireless Emergency Notification System (WENS) to provide instant emergency alerts and notifications to its MCB personnel, MCB families, civilian employees and political representatives.

"The test with WENS was a complete success. We have been using another emergency alert system for the last 2 years to send out mass notifications and have not had consistent results. WENS allows us to send the messages easily and without any problems," said Jerry Blandford, Operations Officer for MCB Camp Pendleton, of a test that was preformed on February 5, 2009 using the WENS platform.

Inspiron Logistics' WENS platform enables officials to instantly communicate directly with landlines, mobile devices (text-message), email, pagers, etc. Its robust design and enterprise- level infrastructure makes it the fastest method of communication in the industry.
