New Enhanced Connection Manager Enables Easy Connection to Multiple Broadband Technologies

LAS VEGAS, April 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CTIA Wireless 2009 -- Smith Micro Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: SMSI), a leading developer and marketer of mobility solutions and services for the wireless market, today announced that T-Mobile USA's webConnect(TM) USB Laptop Stick will utilize Smith Micro Software's connection management software. The announcement highlights another win with a major U.S. wireless carrier for Smith Micro Software's connection management solution.

Smith Micro Software has supplied a multi-mode connection manager that enables the webConnect laptop stick to connect to 3G, WiFi and other technologies quickly and easily while on-the-go. The Connection Manager features a user interface designed to streamline and automate the process of choosing and connecting to your preferred wireless or wired network. The custom solution is currently available for Windows XP and Windows Vista PCs.
