Multiplied Media announces mobile distribution agreement with Idearc Media’s Superpages.com for Poynt users in the United States
Under the agreement, which takes effect immediately, Superpages.com advertiser content is delivered to users of the Poynt for BlackBerry smartphone application when the user generates a query for local business information. Revenues are generated when those queries connect users to Superpages.com’s performance-based advertisers.
The user count for the Poynt application has increased by over 70,000 in the past 80 days, with a current total of over 107,000 mobile users. Multiplied is currently experiencing growth of approximately 1,000 net new users per day.

Poynt is a convenient and timesaving service that connects consumers to local businesses and theaters at the moment they want to buy or acquire products or services. By entering search terms, the consumer is able to find businesses and movies near their location, get phone and address information as well as access enhanced features such as mapping and directions.
