The click-connect-cook kitchen curriculum taps technology in a lively and engaging way and features more than a dozen how-to videos, brand new recipes, cooking and baking secrets, and the opportunity for live chat. Every week, The Mixer class presents a new theme such as Wok it Out stir fry secrets or Pastabilities. Each class also features complementary dessert ideas.

Two energetic co-hosts Lori Eaton and Katrina Szish will bring their own personal culinary passion and style to The Mixer as they lead participants through the online classes. Eaton learned her way in the kitchen from her mother and now is a successful entrepreneur who owns a personal chef business in Wilmington, N.C. Szish, who lives in New York, is an avid baker and works as a television correspondent and writer covering food, fashion and pop culture.

The pilot program kicks-off at 7 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, April 7, with a class titled Kickin’ Chicken, which give viewers tricks for creating moist, tender chicken. Eaton and Szish will demonstrate how to create a variety of chicken recipes using different flavoring and cooking techniques. And, for dessert. . .they’ll reveal a classic Betty Crocker strawberry shortcake, loaded with inspirational ideas on how to make it your own.
