TIG Brings DiversityNXT to International CTIA WIRELESS 2009(R)

Executives from Alcatel-Lucent, AT&T and Motorola join Telecom Supplier Diversity Panel

LAS VEGAS, April 1 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Global procurement executives will share their strategies for success in driving supplier diversity through the supply chain at “A View from the Top”, a panel discussion for corporations and diversity-owned businesses taking place April 1st at DiversityNXT – the only diverse supplier conference with mainstream reach. This year marks the first time that the Telecommunications Industry Group (TIG) has brought DiversityNXT programming to International CTIA WIRELESS 2009(R), which takes place in Las Vegas, NV, April 1 – 3. International CTIA Wireless is developed by the International Association for the Wireless Telecommunications Industry.

Paul Novak, CEO of the Institute for Supply Management, will moderate the “View from the Top” panel that features supply chain executives who will discuss the new realities in wireless industry supply chains and the opportunities for diversity-owned businesses as suppliers. Panelists include: Bob Cash, Vice President, Procurement, Semiconductors and Outsourcing, Motorola; Tim Harden, President of Supply Chain and Fleet Operations, AT&T; and Nick de Tura, Senior Vice President, Quality Assurance & Customer Care, Alcatel-Lucent.
