NeuStar's Wireless Message Routing Service to Power 3Cinteractive Platforms

STERLING, Va., April 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NeuStar, Inc. (NYSE: NSR) today announced that 3Cinteractive, an industry-leading mobile marketing and technology firm, has extended its contract for NeuStar's Wireless Message Routing Service (WMRS).

WMRS is a vital service integrated within 3Cinteractive's Switchblade mobile marketing platform, which powers interactive mobile campaigns for some of the world's largest and most recognizable brands. Additionally, WMRS is helping power 3Cinteractive's Text Collect platform, which enables collect calls to mobile phones. The Text Collect service is utilized by correctional facilities around the country, one of the largest U.S. Telecommunications Carriers, and other facilities that utilize collect calling. Text Collect combines Interactive Voice Response, SMS and Premium SMS (PSMS) mobile billing, producing the only service that allows telecom operators to complete collect calls to mobile phones.

NeuStar's WMRS is an IP addressing service that enables the real-time routing of SMS and MMS wireless messages among mobile operators, content providers, aggregators, and other entities that enable the routing and billing of wireless messaging. 3Cinteractive's platform queries NeuStar's WMRS database whenever MMS or SMS messages are sent by 3Cinteractive subscribers; the database then identifies the correct destination for the message, ensuring a swift, successful, and cost-effective delivery. Available since 2003, WMRS currently provides routing information for hundreds of millions of MMS and SMS messages per month.
