VASCO Expands Training Capacity With New Authorized Training Centers

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. and ZURICH, April 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VASCO Data Security International, Inc. (Nasdaq: VDSI) (www.vasco.com), a leading software security company specialising in authentication products, is expanding its training capacity with new authorized training centers: Itway in Italy, Wick Hill in the UK, Syntra West in Belgium and SEC Datacom in Denmark. The VASCO Authorized Training Centers are part of VASCO's Security Experts Academy & eLearning (SEAL) which was launched in October 2008. The objective of SEAL is to keep security experts up-to-date on the latest trends in IT-security, related technology, authentication and VASCO solutions. VASCO SEAL comprises classroom training, e-learning modules, a certification program for partners, distributor & resellers and the VASCO school for young graduates interested in a career in information security.

Recently, VASCO signed a distribution agreement with Itway which became the first authorized training center in Italy. Itway Italy will focus on providing training for VACMAN(R) Middleware. VACMAN Middleware is a software suite for organizations looking for authentication to allow remote users to access the enterprise network and applications.

SEC Datacom is Denmark's leading value added distributor in the fields of IT Security, networks and industry data communication. The company ensures a high level of industry trough their Technical Competence Center.
