Ergotron Introduces New Digital Display Solutions for Healthcare Professionals at HIMSS 2009

New StyleView(R) Point-of-Care Solutions for Healthcare Include VL Enclosure, Vertical Lift, HD Combo and Neo-Flex WideView Carts

ST. PAUL, Minn., April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Ergotron will unveil its new point-of-care products at the upcoming HIMSS 2009 Annual Conference and Exhibition in Chicago. Attendees will be among the first to see Ergotron's latest StyleView monitor solutions for point-of-care technology, including the VL Enclosure, Vertical Lift, HD Combo and Neo-Flex WideView and Dual WideView WorkSpace Carts.

Here are a few highlights being unveiled at Ergotron's booth #3632, McCormick Place:

• StyleView VL Enclosure: The StyleView VL Enclosure represents Ergotron's most secure wall mount to date, designed to maximize security and maintain patient privacy. With keyed and keyless locking mechanisms, healthcare facilities can feel confident that their computer equipment and patient data adhere to HIPAA guidelines while bringing electronic medical records to the hospital room. This unit offers side-to-side pan of both keyboard and display, which allows one to turn toward the bedside to promote better patient-caregiver interaction. Nine inches (23 cm) of vertical adjustment and a five-inch (13 cm) slide-out keyboard tray adapt the system to the physical needs of multiple users working at the same station while enhancing ergonomic comfort. The StyleView VL Enclosure creates a complete, compact workstation perfect for space-constrained areas, and is currently available for pre-order at an MSRP of $999.
• StyleView Vertical Lift: Available for high-traffic areas and patient rooms, the low-profile StyleView Vertical Lift provides nine inches (23 cm) of smooth height adjustment and folds into a slim, compact unit when not in use. The slide-out, negative-tilt keyboard enhances usability and comfort, while the adjustable monitor makes it easier for doctors to interact with patients. The StyleView Vertical Lift carries an MSRP of $549 or $675, depending on model.
• StyleView HD Combo: Ergotron's most versatile wall mount, the StyleView HD Combo is a complete system that gives healthcare professionals the ability to easily re-position an entire workstation--one can adjust the display, keyboard, mouse and barcode scanner in a single motion. The StyleView HD Combo provides ample height-adjustment range that allows users to work sitting or standing. Other features include independent five-inch (12.7 cm) monitor height adjustment, portrait-to-landscape rotation and 30-degree display tilt. The unit's retractable arm can bring the keyboard to the caregiver or retract it back out of the way when not in use, while a unique cable management system conceals and provides neat routing of cords and wires. The StyleView HD Combo System has a suggested retail price of $649 and is currently available for pre-order.
• Neo-Flex(TM) WideView and Dual WideView WorkSpace Carts: Designed for radiology, clinical PACS access, telepresence, labs and corporate settings, Ergotron's newest additions to the Neo-Flex family of products--the Neo-Flex WideView and the Dual WideView WorkSpace--are compact, low-cost height-adjustable carts. Ideal for Web conferencing or other image-intensive mobile computing applications, the carts' flexible, open architecture supports either dual displays or a mid-size display. With a 20-inch (51 cm) height adjustment range, compact footprint and a fleet of accessories, the Neo-Flex WideView and Dual WideView WorkSpace Carts are perfect for personalized one-to-one video viewing or small-group learning sessions. The carts have an MSRP of $899 and are available now.
