Fortify Acquires WAMS, An end-to-end Network Services Provider

SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Fortify Infrastructure Services, a leading provider of IT services, announced its acquisition of California-based Wide Area Management Services, an end-to-end Network Service provider. In acquiring WAMS, Fortify gains capabilities and expertise that will strengthen its fast-growing IT Infrastructure Services practice.

Founded in 1995 by former NetSolve/Cisco executives, WAMS is a privately-held company with two state-of-the-art US-based Network Operations Centers (NOC) and a world-class proprietary network management software platform that can be leveraged across its entire customer base. WAMS also brings an installed base of over 200 direct & indirect customers, partners and high-end consulting capabilities in areas such as network architecture, planning, design and security solutions. In addition, Fortify gains a highly experienced management team, led by industry veterans Tom Shaw, CEO of WAMS and Gary Rose, CTO of WAMS.
